This painting is part of the study ‘Color Block Paintings’, a series of 16 paintings to better understand the world of colors.
My mum first had symptoms of schizophrenia when I was around 9 years old. But it was much later that it was diagnosed properly and it took much more time to figure out the right mix and doses of medication. Very fortunately, she has been able to live a normal life since.
Small chemical imbalances have a tremendous impact on our mind and emotions, an area that we know remarkably little about.
The painting is named after the song by Nirvana.
